Insurance with City of Denton as the certificate holder: Concrete, Electrical, Electrical Sign, and
Mechanical contractors. Plumbing contractors will be verified through the State
licensing website.

Electrical Sign, Irrigation, Mechanical, and Plumbing Contractors.

ROW Contractors: Contractors performing construction in public
Rights of Way for a registered ROW Utility Provider should refer to the
registration process for Public Works Inspections on the ROW Permits Page. The
ROW Utility Provider must request to add or remove ROW Contractors from their
registration.
BPAT Contractor Submittal
Documents: BPAT License, Liability
Insurance, valid Driver’s License, Fire Sprinkler Certificate from the State
Fire Marshall's Office (for fire testers only). Please contact backflow@cityofdenton.com for
questions.
